Stargirl is a television series based on the DC Comics character, Stargirl.

    Synopsis[edit | hide | hide all]

Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series. STARGIRL is lovingly inspired by Johns' late sister, who was killed in a plane accident.[1]

    Notes[edit | hide]

    • Stargirl is the first DC Universe show to also air on The CW.
      • To free time for commercial breaks on The CW, the length of episodes in the first season varied between networks, with the ones on The CW often being shorter. This was no longer the case for season 2 and subsequent episodes, as they were written and produced with reference to The CW's schedules, and no longer premiered on DC Universe.
